Dealey Plaza - Ruby - Tague - parking lot - triple underpass
A quick tour of some points of interest in Dealey Plaza and downtown Dallas where Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald. I also got the chance to have a conversation with Robert Groden, a well-known conspiracy author, who often sells his books and DVDs in Dealey Plaza on the weekends. I didn't record my conversation with him because I knew he would not open up if I did. I found out some interesting things - one of which is that he's pissed off that David Lifton (whom he called an "asshole") owes him $10,000. But he told me some other interesting things.

Girlfriends traditionally joined them.

NOTE: For some inexplicable reason the sound cuts out when Geoff is asked to say "I do". He did acknowledge in the affirmative, however.

    Dr. Cyril Wecht - dead at 93 on May 14, 2024. I was never a big fan of Wecht's. I thought he sold out his professional knowledge as a forensic pathologist to jump on the conspiracy bandwagon. He consistently attacked the single bullet theory despite the overwhelming evidence that contradicted a shot from any other direction. He also argued that the head shot could have also been the result of two bullets. Lots of bullets in Wecht's world. Watch him twist himself into a pretzel regarding his "remote possibility" - that's how he characterized his own theory, a "remote possibility." ruclips.net/video/On173TSZ8NI/видео.html

      You're on the conspiracy bandwagon some 15 years and you'll continue to do so, and the world will never know the truth because Jack Ruby put Oswald to sleep. Did you know Sen Russell and LBJ are on a taped call saying they don't believe the SBT/MBT look it up on RUclips. And you made a comment about Dr Wecht saying " Cyril Wecht he's 91 does he ever give up, lol. He wasn't on a RUclips CT channel like you 24/7 asking the same questions you asked God knows how many times, that's a bit odd. You're pissed because so many started listening to Dr Wecht and believed him. Unless you're going to say "I know more about gunshot wounds than Dr Wecht " You can't be condemning people who dispute the official story, when you're on your CT RUclips channel asking and answering the same questions night noon and morning 24/7 , And you'll continue at it.

    My comment (9:37) about the guy in the blue shirt who claimed to have had a conversation with Marina in Russian and how I verified that he did, in fact, speak Russian is based on the fact that *I* speak Russian. I failed to mention that. He learned Russian from his "mail order" Russian bride from whom he is now divorced. I started learning Russian when I was in the 6th grade, growing up in St. Louis. I continued with Russian courses all the way through high school and validated four semesters of Russian when I arrived at the United States Naval Academy in 1975. Although I majored in Aerospace Engineering, I took a couple of advanced Russian language courses from the Soviet Studies Department. He spoke Russian with an American, southern accent, however - which I found a bit humorous.

    Thank you for this video. Very informative. But it amazes me it could escape your notice that the "caves" you described...the sidewalk area running under both sides of the triple overpass, would make a perfect hiding place for shooters. The alcoves separated by columns even had a railing that would help facilitate a rifleman aiming at the motorcade. Kennedy WAS wounded in the front of the throat and if you don't believe that, you have discarded a huge amount of evidence to the contrary. When you stood where Tague stood, who was slightly wounded on the cheek by a piece of concrete struck by a stray bullet, you commented the position lined up perfectly with the TSBD. But it ALSO lined up perfectly with the Dal-Tex building. Kennedy's back wound was more horizontal, suggesting a gunshot from that location as it was lower, whereas Connally's wound was more vertical, possibly from a roof. Jack Ruby had been stalking Oswald for two days, even bringing sandwiches to a midnight press conference on Saturday, at which he corrected D.A. Henry Wade about Oswald's activities in New Orleans! How would Ruby know? Yet you appear to believe the ludicrous story that Ruby just happened to see a crowd near the Western Union office and simply slipped down the ramp despite officers standing there. (Actually, there was another way for him to gain access from the alley). But I'm glad you are satisfied with the official version of the assassination because that overlooks the massive number of contradictions, inconsistencies, the fake Secret Service credentials on the grassy knoll, the declassified evidence that Oswald was being impersonated as early as 1960 (according to memos written by J. Edgar Hoover at the time), etc. And it's easier to believe a fairy tale.

    • @DavidEmerling79
      @DavidEmerling79 10 месяцев назад

      Several things: 1. There is no way a shooter would have been inside one of those "caves." First of all, it's a horrible location to shoot from because there would be no realistic expectation that you wouldn't be seen and be able to escape. Secondly, the geometry of a shot from that location simply doesn't work out if the bullet is going to hit Kennedy. Such a shot would have to go *through* the windshield of the presidential limousine, get past the agent sitting on the right side of the front seat - get past Governor Connally, *then* hit Kennedy. No discerning assassination would take such a silly shot. 2. Kennedy's back wound was *not* "more horizontal." Connally's back wound certainly *was* "more horizontal" which is an indicator that the bullet's flight had been disrupted by hitting something else. In other words, the bullet was tumbling. This is why the bullet stayed intact because it had a) slowed down and b) hit bones going sideways. This is why the bullet is deformed in such an odd fashion. When a bullet hits a hard object, we expect the nose of the bullet to be deformed and look like a mushroom. This bullet did not! That's a testament to the bullet *not* being planted because; who would plant such an oddly deformed bullet? Why not plant a bullet that looked like it actually hit something in a more conventional manner? 3. There is zero evidence that Ruby had been stalking Oswald. I have no idea where you got that kind of information. That does not appear in a single one of the multiple investigations. Ruby's whereabouts were scrutinized quite thoroughly by the investigators. I'm guessing you got this out of some wacky conspiracy book or something. 4. Ruby being attracted to crowds, especially around a police station, was completely consistent with Ruby's proclivity to be a curious hanger-on. This was such a common practice of his that even the Dallas police recognized and dismissed him as nothing more than a harmless annoyance. This is why they tolerated him on the 3rd floor of police headquarters the evening of the assassination, mingling with the reporters and leading on that he was *also* a member of the press with a lot of local connections. It made him feel important to the out-of-town press members. You parrot a lot of old, debunked conspiracy points. We know much more today about the assassination than what was known back then, mostly due to technology.

      You demonstrated how dark and cave-like those tunnels were. I've seen other still photos from the south side of Commerce that lines up perfectly with a shot fired at JFK from the front. The Parkland doctors saw an entry wound in the front of the throat. Multiple DALLAS POLICE OFFICERS (I could name them) confirmed the windshield had a bullet hole, as did reporters standing outside Parkland. Where did that shot come from? Gerald Ford changed the location of the back would to facilitate the Arlen Specter "single bullet theory"; his handwritten notes prove that. But Secret Service and doctors at Bethesda, etc. placed the back wound LOWER THAN THE NECK WOUND. How does Oswald shoot Kennedy from above and behind and have the back wound lower than the next wound? Angle doesn't work. Dr. Joseph Dolce, the U.S. Army’s most senior expert in wound ballistics, challenged the pristine nature of the so-called magic bullet. He explained, “one bullet striking the President’s neck, the Governor’s chest and wrist, should be badly deformed, as our experiments at the Edgewood Arsenal proved.” Dr. Dolce was not called to testify before the Warren Commission. The Edgewood Arsenal report, "Wound Ballistics of 6.5-mm Mannlicher-Carcano Ammunition," was withheld from the public for ten years, until a FOIA request was filed. As for Ruby not stalking Oswald, HE WAS PHOTOGRAPHED AND IS ON VIDEOTAPE at the midnight press conference at DPD and even corrected Henry Wade. Ruby was not a member of the press. What was he doing there. Also, TWO credible witnesses, including a reporter who knew him, saw Ruby at Parkland around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warren Commission chose to ignore them. One of Ruby's own sisters identified a photo taken at Parkland as being of her brother. I'd say that's stalking. Ruby even brought sandwiches for the cops at the midnight press conference. Security was lax. When Oswald was brought into the garage, Will Fritz -- who was supposed to protect him from the front -- suddenly walked briskly ahead and opened up a big gap that Ruby was able to step into and fire at Oswald. Two of the officers escorting LHO complained the car was not where it was supposed to be. Fritz told them to proceed and that it was in position but it was not. Why didn't they have Oswald in a bullet proof vest, after phoned threats to his life? Indeed, more info has come out in recent years, adding to the massive evidence that the CIA and the FBI withheld pertinent information from the Warren Commission. The autopsy Xrays and photographs are also forgeries based on what FBI agents and doctors say. Existing Xrays show a massive blow-out to the front of Kennedy's head but his face was intact, as even the "death stare" photo shows (and as Kellerman and others testified). Over 40 people talked about a massive wound in the BACK of Kennedy's head, including Clint Hill. It was the first thing he saw. So how does Kennedy get a massive wound there from a shot from behind him? It is obviously an exit wound. @@DavidEmerling79

    • @DavidEmerling79
      @DavidEmerling79 7 месяцев назад

      @@midtodSome Parkland doctors *speculated* that the throat wound was an entry wound. That's because they did not know about the wound high on Kennedy's back - which was *clearly* an entrance wound. They never turned the body over. They were not in the business of doing a forensic analysis of the president's wound. They were engaged in a frantic attempt to save his life. All the Parkland doctors deferred to the findings of the autopsy - even Dr. Earl Rose, who was insistent (correctly so) that the president's body had to remain in Dallas for an autopsy - an autopsy that *he* would have performed.
